INTRODUCTION

Sweet, savory, and packed with bold flavor, Pineapple Fried Rice is a quick and satisfying meal that brings a tropical twist to your table. Juicy sausage, tender rice, colorful vegetables, and fresh pineapple come together in one skillet for an easy dish that’s perfect for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 12 oz sausage, sliced
  • 3 cups cooked rice (preferably chilled)
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro or green onion for garnish

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add garlic and bell pepper to the skillet. Cook for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Stir in rice, breaking up any clumps, and cook for 3–4 minutes.
  5. Add pineapple, peas, cooked sausage, soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Stir well.
  6. Drizzle with sesame oil and toss everything together until heated through.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper as needed.
  8. Garnish with green onions or cilantro and serve warm.
