Mac n’ Cheese topped Hot Links

Prep Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Directions

  1. Setup grill for 2 zone grilling and light. Allow about 15 minutes to preheat to about 400°F.

  2. While the grill is preheating, let’s make the mac n’ cheese sauce. In a saucepan over med-low heat, add butter and flour. Stir continually until the mixture takes on a slight light brown color. Add the milk, increase heat to medium and heat until the milk is just below a boil. Reduce the heart and add the cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Add your prepared pasta. Mix well. Set aside.

  4. Place sausages on an indirect area of the grill. With the lid closed, allow the sausages to cook for about 4 minutes. Flip the sausages and cook for another 4 minutes.

  5. At this point, the sausages should be heated through to 160°F internally. Move sausages to a direct area of the grill. Moving and flipping the sausages often, grill them to your desired level of char or doneness. Remove the sausages from the grill.

  6. Place the sausages in their bun and top with the prepared mac n’ cheese.

  7. Top with Pork Panko crumbs

  8. Serve and enjoy.
