Preheat grill to about 425° F.
Prepare the sausages and shrimp. Slice the round ends of the sausages off and set aside; these are snacks for the cook. Slice the remaining portion of each link into 5 equal pieces.
Remove the shells from the shrimp, leaving the tails.
Wrap a shrimp around a piece sausage and skewer. Skewer 5 pieces of shrimp and sausage on each skewer. Season with your favorite shrimp seasoning.
Place skewers on an indirect area of the grill. With the lid closed, allow the sausages and shrimp to cook for about 4 minutes. Flip and cook for another 4 minutes.
Using a brush, paint the sausages and shrimp with BBQ sauce. Allow to cook for 2 minutes. Flip and paint the 2nd side with BBQ sauce. Cook for 2 additional minutes. The shrimp should be pink and opaque.
Remove from the grill.
Serve over a bed of white rice. Enjoy.
